Your profile

Your role as (Senior) Data Engineer …
As data analyst, you will be a crucial expert member of the technology team and ensure our core business model: bringing together building data from various sources in a reliant and scalable way. Data is the central asset for the BuildingMinds platform and all its services, and you will be its guardian and the facilitator.
By bringing in your expertise in data pipelines, you will play an essential role in growing and nurturing the data sources and quality in our platform and taking our product to the next level.

In detail you will:

Help to shape our future data analyst and data consulting team of BuildingMinds
Design and build reports and perform ad-hoc analyses together with the clients.
Analyze internal and external data and provide insights to the customers.
Build data science-based models and work closely with internal and external teams to grow out analytics landscape.
Work closely with the customers and our sales team to collect requirements to enhance our product
Be extending the central BuildingMinds data model to store all incoming data along with the market best practices.
Implementing and maintaining standard and ad-hoc data queries and reports
Collaborating with Product Owners, Domain Experts, Tech Leads, Machine Learning Engineers and Data Engineers to provide high value data products to our customers.

We would like to hear from you if you have:

an MSc, or PhD in business, economics or appropriate technology field (computer science, physics, statistics, applied mathematics, operations research, etc.) 
5+ years of experience in data analytics, preferably in a senior or leadership role
Strong proficiency in SQL and Python
Data Visualization (Power BI / Tableau), Data Modelling, Data Analysis
Experience in handling projects and interacting with customers and senior leadership
Experience in working with different database and storage solutions.
Experience with DBT is nice to have
Experience with of the Azure data stack is highly beneficial (Azure Data Lake, Databricks, Data Factory, etc.)
Good communication skills and ability to collect data related requirements
General knowledge and experience in data science and machine learning engineering concepts
